hi!
after some years working as 3d allrounder and vfx generalist, i'm specializing as animator.. so here is my character animation showreel.

Hi. Over all i would say that your animations are lacking a certain amount of weight to them. Also i would recommend concentrating on more secondary action to give your work a more fluid, smooth feeling. For example, the clip of the guy coming up to the gap, i would throw a lot more weight into his steps by weighting your tangents and smoothing out some of your curves as well as adding more secondary on his upperbody and head when he stops suddenly. Keep it up man!

I can't wait until I can get to the point of character animation. 8) I like how it starts basic looking, then evolves to more detail.

thanks, parasiteartist (nice name).

brian, i agree about secondary motion.. some times i have fear to exaggerate too much secondary reactions, perhaps because i care too much about having a unique line of deformation without overlapping too deeply several different ones; but i'm not sure to understand your critique about weight, since is one of the aspects i obviously mostly take care about. do you see my character floaty?

thanks for your kind comments :)

bye.
