CGTalk - Jellyfish tentacles

Anyone suggest the best way approach to jellyfish tentacles? (Carefully i guess HAHA-Sorry i always laugh at my own jokes)

Ive had some success with spline IK and even FK but What id really like is a script or expression driven solution that really allows me to get that silky smooth-flowing tentacle action!
Im working In Maya but am happy to adapt!!

try softbody on oyur ikspline handle you can have pretty nice result...............or just a piece of cloth who will drive your tentacle mesh.........hope that help
