HELP!

I must grab couple of shots from dvd and can't do it with Ctrl+PrtScr on my PC.
Anyone knows how to do it?

you mean screenshots from video dvd? from film, movie atc? you must convert original dvd to divx format for example and than you must use software for sequence view - example VirtulDub (its free). this application can save every actual frame to picture :-)

Media Player Classic does a pretty nice job with screenshots, and it's free. The only downside is the inability to step frame-by-frame, forwards and backwards.

To step frame-by-frame try the left/right arrow buttons ;)

It hasn't let me do that with DVDs in the past. :(

www.fraps.com (http://www.fraps.com) is what you want.

remember that you can only do a screengrab while the DVD is running, though (so don't freeze-frame it on that one frame you want, but rather try to grab it as the movie is playing, or it won't work).

or you could just install the videolan mediaplayer (search for VLC).
