View Full Version : Character: Snag
Gemini 02-24-2003, 10:36 PM hey, sorry about the double post.this is a model for a thesis project i am working on. the head is pretty close to done, but the body has only a couple of hours of work on it and is pretty much as rough as it gets. Obviously he is still lacking hands and feet(i hate hands and feet), they will be coming somewhat in the near future let me know what you think. i am particularly concerned with the proportions as well as any geometry that doesn't work all that well. All sorts of C & C are welcome.

yeah,it has been a while since i have really done any work, but here is a little update. i could really use some comments on the proportions, especially the hands, feet and shoulders. there are some strange looking seams, but that is because everthing is still seperate. would love to hear all comments, good and bad. thanks

is he some sort of monster Calvin Klein model?
that last render really reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer models for CK, and comes out wearing a pair of underoos and dress shoes with socks.
Great Job. i like the head, and even though it's unintentional, I really like the seams of the arm and torso, it looks like his arms have been stitched on by some mad scientist.

This should been a funny animation. Crits: The biceps and forearms need work. The shape of the bicep looks kinda strange...its peaking too close to the elbow. Actually...it shouldn't bee peaking at all with the arms stretched outward. Also the palms look a little too flat. Another thing a noticed was the leg definition. The "teardrop" muscle in the quad (to the inside right above the knee) should bulge a little more. Though i dont see the definition in the leg in the newer image, so maybe you got rid of it all together.
Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see it animated.:D
