Mikkel Jans 02-05-2007, 07:55 AM How do i get the mouse position in Maya 8.5 on Linux?
I know it's possible with the draggerContext, but I need the mouse position from a hotkey.

I think I have found a solution..
The 'autoPlace -um' mel command returns a worldspace position from the mouse pointer.
This position can be converted to a mouse position by using the M3DView.worldToView.
I haven't tested it yet, but it should work.

It doesn't appear to be available for MacOS X either, so I wouldn't mind a peek at the source code also.
