Hi
im quite new to this and im still trying to learn the basics but i came across this problem. when i try to render to an avi file i get an error message saying "Bad avi class" i was wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how i can fix it.

any help will be much appreciated

try changing the video codec? or render it to a sequence of images and compile it later (which is best)

do you use divx 5.0.2 ?
divx don't suport every dimension

you have to make sure your codec supports the frame size. i think its down to the compression it uses, i.e things have to be a certain ratio.
there is probably a site somewhere that will tell you what you can and cant do.
