Hello friends

I have a dummy question: When I extruded a face out and apply a texture to it, the texture looks like stretched. I usually export my models and take them to office and texture them on Maya - with planar mapping tool to fix this issue. But this time I have to use Cinema 4D for entire development.

There was a technic on Cinema 4D book for it - but I couldn't used it properely. I know I sound dumb, but all kind of help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Kerem

Check your texture projection.

The rason is that Cinema isn't vyer intelligent about extruded faces, it doesn't modify the uv's to match over automatically and instead filles them from sctratch. You can solve this in Bodypaint by simply selecting the new polygons/uv's and running the UV Terrace tool (possibly followed by a single iteration of UV relax). This will stitch the uv's back in and then give them a bit of space.
