The title isn't going to make sense unless I tell you the hummingbird over the dragon is sticking out it's tongue too I'm sorry I just couldn't think of a title, so that'll have to do.
About 25 hours total. Painter IX wacom intuos tablet. I wanted to play around with textures, especially in the background. This is a very different style background to what I usually make, so it was a good stretch for me. I loved using the sumi-e pen for the foliage (which is hard to see, I have that layer at about 50% opacity)
