Still in the works, I havent textured the bumps and bruises (i.e. Armor) yet so please notice the missing textures before your input =). And I do mean, lots of input. Thanks =). Im also adding the color concept for the character beneath the first image.

it may be me but it looks like the torso is too small for the legs.

btw, whats the poly count, and what game were you targeting when making this?

Yeah, Unfortunately I just found out that when I rendered the model, I was using a widescreen setting. When I get home, the proportion of the body will be fixed.

Ive made couple of changes in the model including Smooth tool like in Max but done in XSI. The polycount is 2500 done in 1024 res and targetting for a 512 res texture map. Some crits, please! Heh Thanks! :rolleyes:

hey man, lookin good. this ones comming along. I like the chest plate and colors.. face is cool too. ear looks nice.

crit

- nose seems collapsed.
- flat feet!
- might want to throw some colors into the pants.. just some variations, break up the gray tone.
- check out wrinkles in pants. look at some other game maps. the wrinkles are usually more horizontal then you would think. define the knee area a bit more.
- i dunno about the hat. might need some reference.

that xsi widescreen thing sucks.. i remember that shat.

Heheh, that hat looks like a salad bowl. ;) Is it a fantasy outfit or is it supposed to be an asian style? Because then, I think the hat should be wider and more like a cone...

I fixed the knee area (proportion to the body) and change the skin color a bit, I didnt finish smoothing it out though, Im freaking tired hehe. Hopefully, after Messina class on Wed, Ill be done the following day.

hats boots & bracers look like you removed the textures so im assuming your going to re texture them..

but looking at the feet again i have to agree that they could be a little better.

looks like you made him darker, looks better imho.

keep it up man ;-).

Shag, thanks for info. I did some of the changes you mentioned (chest area) but as for the pants, Im targetting more on the saggy look instead of tightness around the legs that makes the creases go sideways instead of vertical. Im not sure if you saw the recent one posted with updated, tell me what you think.

Mage: Thanks, Ill keep continuing to make it look better. Yeah, there are missing textures going on, Its just I havent finished them yet. School and all...BAH!

To ALL: This character is Asian decent with samurai like clothing. Think Dynasty warriors but not that hardcore. LOL! Hopefully the textures will be done this Thursday afternoon. Smooth and tweaked! WOOT ;)
