Title: Need For Freedom
Name: Natig Aghayev
Country: Azerbaijan
Software: Maya, Photoshop

Hi,

As you can see this work was inspired mostly by Pixar's "Cars" movie. So I thought why not try and make some texturing and rendering tests. One of the draft test renders wasn't looking that bad so I decided to go a little further with it. Taking into account that I made the car itself much earlier (which took 6 days to complete including texturing and rigging) I can say that I've completed the rest for only one or two days. The car's design is originally based on the design of Pontiac Le Mans GTO 1972 year of issue. I've just redesigned the back part of it to make it look more like retro cadillac.

The main idea was to show the moment of freedom. The moment of being really free of things like tight urban traffic, pollution, noisy and narrow streets so forth and so on. I hope you'll like my humble attempt to portray this very moment -) And of course any c&c's are always welcomed!

Never comment on cars but couldnt stop myself this time. Love the overall 2d quality and look of the piece. Wonderful colours and composition.
