Title: My Eye!
Name: Ian Souter
Country: United States
Software: Maya
I modeled the bottle and the table in the back using Maya and I created the liquid in Real Flow. I then used Maxwell Studio to texture it and rendered it using Maxwell Render. I did a little bit of touch up in Paint Shop Pro afterwards.

thanks for the compliment. some of the grain is actually tiny bubbles in there but most of it is just maxwell grain.
this is what's in the background, I wasn't sure of the camera angle i wanted so i actually modeled more than i really needed.

I think the grain being so apparent around the egdes of everything makes it stand out more...just needs to cook a bit more in maxwell:)
btw I see your watching Top Gear while you work?,heh..I was doing that last night :D

Hey Ian
Good stuff man....I just think lil less blur and a lil ray trace on the bottle would have made is lovely...but def. love the render...keep it going

Looks great to me. It's quite a vaporous event also, looks only liquidious here. (We can make words up on the fly right?) Maybe the drink looks a bit flat as a result. (flat as in lost its fizz)

my answer is that the CO2 hasn't escaped the liquid yet but in reality i couldn't think of a good way to make the foam look nice so i just left it out. anyone have some good foam techniques?
i also forgot the foil that goes around the top of the bottle. duh me.
