looking good, where'd you get the blueprint?

It's not a spline model, I used subdivision surfaces for this car. I used patches on my Mustang and this way seems to be a bit quicker and easier and cleaner. I did build a spline reference before I started modeling though, so I could hide the pictures for most of the construction.
The 'blueprints' came from a vette owner I found on a forum for vette owners. He had the assembly manual which is just full of drawings of the car. I was a little suprised to find that they weren't perfectly accurate to each other, perhaps because they were illustrating different points. The top view came from drawings that highlighted the hood. The front view was from drawings that showed the axel and wheel assembly, so the side and top views matched bumper to bumper, but in one the hood is longer than the other, so there's a bit of fudging and picking one to trust, using the others for more general reference. Referring often to photos I found on ebay became very important. (Ebay is an awesome resource for car pics, people selling their cars photograph every inch)

Great job! I am a big corvette fan too, try to work on your tires texture, its a bit flat I think, also try adding an environment mapping like HDRI, it would make the curves lines came out even better. Keep up the good work!

Looks pretty good and clean. Nice modelling. Needs some work on the environment and such, otherwise it'll never come of as realistic :) And yeah, I wouldn't want to drive on a wet road with those tires :)

I used to love the old 'vettes.. you done her justice, it looks great
I think some refinement on the materials would help, perhaps a more mettalic paint look would be cool? I didn't note what program you're using but perhaps try a GI render or at least try some different lighting scemes, this one seems kinda flat.
Model looks awesome man, I look forward to seeing this thing in some awesome composited shots..

Nice model Chris, I know the lighting and paint job are temprary, make sure to get some really moody lighting going on, and place a couple of balls and squares out of view to enhance reflections, might also want to get a wide angle shot of that badass front end:buttrock:
