Just finished a little Wii parady animation for Super 78 during some down time. It's my first V-Ray render ever and that cable turned into a pain (running simulations), but I think it's cute. I thought I'd post it here for some critique. You can watch the animation on you tube here...

Let me know what you think.

very nice mate, just curious are the stories true then? that the wii controllers are known to break?

lol i find it very unlikely that that animation will air lol it was a 'parody' after all :)

all together i liked it very much :D

Nice stuffs you've got here, cute animation and fun to watch. If you ask for some critique I think the part where the wiimote first went to the air and left the nunchuck hanging, the swings were just a little bit slow, other than that are great! I like it!

FaR-SeeR, I think it's about some weird people who break stuffs because they can't hold on to their remote though :) Cheers!

mistasam02:
I find it hard to believe Nintendo would endorse their product breaking anything, so no. It was just a cute little downtime project we did for fun.

FaR-SeeR:
Don't know if the stories are true, I don't have a Wii myself. Glad you liked the animation though.

pommegenozide:
Thanks for the crit. Something about that swing didn't "feel" quite right to me too. Glad you like it overall.

Hi Michael,

Nice little short. Like the edit and sound too.

Your 'heavy and light' and the VW transformer video have been very inspirational from when i saw it the first time about 3 years or so ago.

Kudos! man...more live action CG video would be awesome...

How about a mechanical bug let loose in the live world and your armoured VW could shred it to bits part by part... ;)

:)
