hey kids, this is my first attempt at character modelling in maya. I havent quite gotten to his fists yet & the kabuto (helmet) is still to come. Apart from that i think im almost ready to texture...id love some feedback...

(i probably should have hidden the poly count!!)

I think it needs some more detail. It's waaaaaay to simpe. His atms and legs look like melted plastic. Keep going!

Yep, more detail.. If your're not going for a cartoony character.

I think the whole thing looks a bit too soft...some hard edges here and there could make a difference. Not bad for a first attempt though ;)

WOW! Looks looks so ugly and that something about its face that looks like a kind of antique of CHINA!!!! I meant its outline isnt too uncomfortables looks!

I see that now too! some hard edges are going to wok their way in there.

here's a quick update. thanx for making me spend more time on it im definetely happier now. i know his hand resembles a collection of cheap sex toys but it wont be seen in the shot i have planned.

i do have to move on now though (this is for a compositing reel!). ...time to redo his armour. so unless you can see anything that is drastically lacking or wrong...
