I wasnt crazy about the front until I saw the full wrap around cover. Gorgeous painting! Awesome colors and atmosphere.

WOW! I am amazed how you've achieved smooth tones of colour in the sky - My attempts always seem "blochy".

I agree with the above poster - you should've posted the entire painting here instead of the detailed zoom of the structure. The composition of the wrap around piece is great - colors are awesome too. Congrats on the comission and for doing such a nice job, good luck!

This is fantastic, really great! I've read the book, and this illustration really fits it! I've also had the pleasure of talking to Mr. McDevitt via email, and I bet he would love to see this pic. You should send it to him!
