View Full Version : spattered ink in painter ix
Coward 01-30-2007, 12:12 AM Hello all,
I'm looking for a way to achieve a splattery ink effect, as if I was throwing paint onto a canvas violently. I haven't used painter in forever, and I forgot how to do it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might try the Splatter Brushes that come on the Painter IX CD. They are ink brushes that splat when you use them. I don't have the disk handy, but I think they are folder called Extras.

The airbrush has a few variations you might try.
Pepper Spray or Variable Splatter might be your best bets. If nothing else, one or the other might give you a head start on creating your own in the Brush Builder.

Hi,
On the Painter IX CD there's a brush library containing 8 brush variants that might work for you:
CPainterIX > Extras > Brushes > Splatter Brushes
