This picture was done for/loosely based upon someone very special....
Character design for my personal project. I might knock back some of the saturated colors to better match the rest of the images. Enjoy.
i love this design very much~!
well... u've mentioned about this gal to me b4. hope that she'll love it.

wow! really great character design..
but it is a bit too dark....and i would make the backgroud a gray tone to make the character pop out more....hummm...a big gun in her left hand maybe cool too...
anyway its a really solid looking character you got there...keep posting:thumbsup:

excellent! finally, a henrik character!
it's very slick, i don't think 3D would do it justice *blasphemy*

henrik, your ability to paint textures amazes me.
the girl and her clothes are very nicely rendered.
however, i believe that your lines could be thinned out a bit, as they seem to contrast with your hyper-detailed coloring. the area where her headband and her hair looks a bit odd.
nice work nonetheless

I've had so much feedback on this one compared to much of my other work. Some think nose is off, background boring, background good, hair bad, hair good, too detailed, too busy, not too much detail, cool pose, bad pose, to much black lines, not enough black lines.... ...o_O
Not sure what to do. I'll try to come up with some kind of background I think, plus reworking the hair.
Thanks for your input. This one's got "tweaking fever", as Steven puts it. ;)

Looks very nice! Great drawing and pose and coloring and everything. I agree that you should try to fix the hair though. It looks a little like you have "flood-filled" a texture inside the outline of the hair in some way. It's not very bad, but I guess you could improve it in some way?

Very cool  Maybe some environment?;)

Changed the background slightly. After trying several different backgrounds, this is the only thing I can come up with next to black. (Prefer black).
I don't want to paint a whole environment for background, as it would distract from the character.

 Cool one Henrik but it's not so far from Massimiliano Frezzato's style ...it will be really weird if you don't know him  ...here is an example of his work (http://membres.lycos.fr/art7sayan/Frezzatoswork.gif)
Only her hair seems weird to me, I guess it's about the stroke...but I like it Henrik, WE like it!

I like it, although I'm not sure if the shadow is correct. seems like the light is coming from her left but on the shadow you can still see the knife, pouch and other stuff on her right leg perfectly outlined, which doesn't make sense to me.

awesome !!
I just think the hair should not have strokes...
thats It !!!...
