lobsterleg 02-23-2003, 10:43 AM Hello :-)
is there any shortcut on the keyboard by default to snap
the faces while rotating? so i can get the exact rotation i want
on example polyfaces? i want to snap rotate like 90Degres at on time?

I think you have to turn on discrete rotate.
You could always hold down the 'E' key + Left Mouse Button and select Snap Rotate.

... or try assigning a hotkey for that.
MMs are nice but they're still to slow for thing like snapping:
try assigning this to a press statement of a hotkey:
manipRotateContext -edit -snap 1 Rotate;
and this to the release statement of the same hotkey
manipRotateContext -edit -snap 0 Rotate;
voila. snap toggle for rotation. i mapped it near the x,c,v keys to have all my toggles in one place.
cheers,
