This is an almost complete CG I'm doing for a contest of sorts. It's supposed to be a Chinese Lady. I guess she doesn't look very Chinese.

Anyhow, I'm not very satisfied with the thing as a whole, and I'm not really sure why. Any C&C would be highly appreciated. :)

I think that studying some asian faces would help you make her look more chinese. There are some asian-specific features that are good triggers. For example, if you soften up the bridge of her nose (or even blend it into the face completely), she will look more chinese. The same thing will happen if you make the lower eyelid overlap the bottom eyelid and make the top eyelid have less of a fold in it. There's other, more subtle things too, and you really just have to look at a bunch of chinese/japanese/korean rock star girls, and I think you'll have it then. ^^

The other comment i have is that I think the white is too bright. The painted part of the image is all in the mid to dark tones, and the white really pops out at you. Maybe replace the white with a dark color?
