Howdy

First off im hoping this is the right forum, there are 3 here that i think this might fit into and none that im sure of since im working 3d anywho ill just cull those bits out :).

Im currently working on a still image which requires me to create wings (of an angle) which are 'falling off' my plan is to have the skelletal structure of the wing with small peices of tissue hanging onto it, and some torn membrain stretched between the fingers/ribs.

My problem comes in that I dont really know what it should look like having never done anything of the sort before (surgical/gore/whateveritscalled), and havnt been able to find any usefull referances or tutorials.

If it would be posable for anyone to point me in the right direction or posibly more it would be awsome.

However I would think that your best bet would be a bird anatomy book or resources online? Have you tried googling for this type of ref?

Thanks for getting back sorry it took me a while to aswell.

Yea i been looking around google for about 2 weeks on/off the closest thing i found was a lion kill. :P

The anatomy museum london seems like it will do the trick, just need to add some colour to the test tube things.

This may be late, but...

Eliot Goldfinger's "Animal Anatomy for Artists" has 6 pages of bird bones and muscles. It has front, side and back views of a chicken, plus feather placement.
