CGTalk - track view trouble

Whenever I try to navigate trough the track view with my mmb max freaks out. When I hold down my mmb max allows me to move the screen as it does in any other viewport, but when I let go it still moves the screen. I have the most trouble when trying to edit curves. Is there a patch or something to fix this? I have talked to other users and they knew exactly what I was talking about, but had no idea how to fix this.

I don't think there is anything you can do about it, other that write to Discreet and threaten to switch to LW unless they sort it out (and tell 'em to do something about Schematic view while you are there).
