Well hi everyone !!! I been having a doubt for long time What really a producer do ?? I mean he just put the money for the film or he got something to do with the movie making?? For example Why does Jerry Bruckheimer is so famous ?? Why having he as a movie producer is soo good ?? why is always like ¨ A Jerry Bruckheimer FILM ¨
I repeat is just for the movie or he take some decisions about the movie??

well, you're right, a producer is, in first instance, who makes sure the film gets funded.

... and because he's the one with the money it gives him privilages, he can just stand at the sideline ans watch or he can "force" himself into any field of the production he wants, wether or not he knows anything about filmmaking in the first place.

In the end it's all about who has the money. And they can do with it what they want. There are producers that just want to stand at the "sideline" and there are producers that want to be a part of every step in production. Personaly i dont know where jerry bruckheimer falls though :P
