I have just downloaded Midictrl, a plugin that allows its user to control parametres through midi input. this is pretty cool. However, it does not work in max 4 as ift fails to initialise.
Are there any fundamental differences between older versions of max and max4 that would prevent it from working. Could it be engineered to work with max4 quiet simply. I dont know i've never used maxscript before, but maybe theres a genius out there who has?
Also how would you go about viewing the code within a plugin, it wont not unsuprisingly open in notepad, and since it wont initialise within max, i cant see that id be able to edit it in there either. Perhaps i'm wrong and someone would like to put me straight.
So maybe someone would be interested in re-solving this problem in max4???
