I'd change the colour of the paint first. Brown is so depressing, unless that's the effect you need in your story?
The head light texturing seems fine. I'm not sure which part of it you are having problems with? The glass cover or inside the headlight?

bliz, i think the color is right for this animation.
old people usually drive brown cars. i cant remember the last time i saw an old person driving a hot red car like that.
oh, and kabyll, the light textures look fine..... although the lights themselves are HUGE, unless that is an actuall car.... hehe

sure, I think the color is right for a old woman
for the headlamp, I don't know, something looks wrong... in the first picture especialy
and the indicator is not really visible...
In the first picture it looks like you are using the wrong reflection map for the sky.
Maybe just take the reflection amount down a bit on the headlight glass?

after a lot of work on other models here's a little update with textures to give it more life.
C&C are welcome

and another view

That's a lot better kabyll (the 'other view' is a red X for me though). I reckon that would look nice in a rural setting as if it was parked next to a rustic frech farmhouse or something. Have a few rusting spare parts like wheels and doors etc. littered about and leaning against a delapidated barn etc. etc.
Keep going, it's looking good  More original than some gleaming, shiny macho supercar render :p
Just noticed something - the state of the chrome wheels and bumpers and other trim is brand new, to make it more natural rust it up and skew the angles of the bumberps etc so they are not perfectly aligned.

I don't know how much you wanted to exagerrate aspects of the car but those headlights and covers are far too huge. Any chance of a side view because there's something askew with the basic body shape that I can't work out. Why the "customised wheels"?
Otherwise looks interesting as to where it might go. :)

you were probably right...
this is another update for the head-light and wheels (however the other wheels are from a model of 1968)

sure, but finding goog blueprints is a hard task...
the shape of the head light is really a hard job...

The most obvious thing I notice first, is the tires. They are too small of a diameter and too wide to fit under a car like that.
c'est très bien,.. stop maintenant,... c bon , c joli, mais STOP!
arrete d'y travailler!! nomdjidju,
enfoiré, j'ose même pas imaginer le reste

the proportions of the front end are alittle bit rough so far, but I really like how it's coming along. I especially like the texturing you've done so far.
One thing that is missing. It's missing from most car models that I see. Where are the windshield wipers???
