How do i do if i want to use two different maps for one object...i mean i wan't to unwrap two different maps :)..
I don't want to split the model in two pieces, and i fiugerd that there should be an other way to do it that i don't know of..

can you post a picture of what you're trying to accomplish?

for this you have the multi/sub material and the surface IDs
check it out on the manual

I´m just a noob but i got the same problem. I use to solve it by trying out different flattening methods and change their parameters.

Do you miss any vertextes or faces in the unwrap? If so, try to assign a checker map to the unwrap to see if the unwrapping work seamlessly.

If so, it shouldn´t be a bug.
