Hello everyone!

I'm new here, but i've seen a thread of a person that asked for help about sub surface scattering in brazil. Well, the respong he got was: "check the manual!" Well, I've checked the html files attached to the program, I've tried very hard to play with whole the parameters in the material window, I've checked the check box in the render window for sss. But yet, when i do an object with a light behing it, it doesn't seem to be lighten - it's like a big black picture... Please ppl, help me, how to use that wax material in brazil?!! :hmm:

yup, I am having this problem too. I tried it with another smaller object inside the object, still not what I want?

Really ?
Interesting... I don't recall any clients from Israel.

Regardless, though... you have the manual, so you must be a registered user :surprised:

In which case.. if the manuals weren't sufficient (odd), why not try the example files ?

Specifically applicable are :
Sub-Surface Scattering I
Sub-Surface Scattering II
Sub-Surface Scattering III
SSS - Using Wax

All under the Sub-Surface Scattering (SSS) header.
who'd've thunked

Good luck!

Best regards,
Richard Annema

It's only an hobby for me, not my job. I do not use that program for commercial, only for education, and if i'll have my own company, i can ensure everyone, i'm going to buy the programs i'll use. Using brazil for now, just for fun, is the best way for myself to get known for it - it's the best commercial a program can get.

I guess you don't know that a guy who was in your same conditions at cgarchitect.com has been found with an illegal copy of Brazil rs and now he has been legally persecuted by the company that produces Brazil rs
