hi

how would you get a spotlight(or any other light) to show a rectangle shape light shine rather than its defualt round/circular light?
and how would u get a light to shine through a window in a wall effect with a spotlight?does that just happen automatically?

barn doors in the Light Effects section of your spotlight

yes that happens automatically - at least if you use ray traced shadows

you could map the lightcolor like black/white I guess
