I like this very much!

If you are going to toon shade the character, then I would go with the black pupil. If you are leaving him as shown, then the real iris might look better. Just my opinion.

not bad from the upper proportion..
but i have some problem withe the leg ... hummm i dont know...
can we see him with a cel shader ? :-)

and will check what i can do with those legs

tu bosse avec quel prog ?
et puit personelemnt je trouve que le cel shader marche bien avec sa geometry..
eje dois avouer que avec le cel shader ses jabe ne me pose plus de probleme
