View Full Version : Flipping of the axes

Hi there. I´m having a strange problem. I have my skeleton lined up and ready to animate. When I select the root in the perspective window everything is fine, but when I select say the x-axis in the channel box to set a keyframe the axes flip in the perspective window. What was the x-axis is now y-axis and so on and so forth. Anyone know what I´m talking about.

hi, this is because all the informations in the channelBox are in local coordinates, so when you click on a channel, the manipulator flip to show you the local axis of this object, in your case, your root seems to be parented to an object with somes orientations apply to this object.... so everything seems ok :)
