CGTalk - Selection?

I just reinstalled v3.0 and when I goto select a vert it does fine, But when I goto select a different vert it selects is but also keeps the first vert selected. This is a pain because it never used to do it that. IS there like a on/off to this?

oh... i have this prob too before.
what you need to do is toggle off the 'extended component selection' and the 'select single object in region' in the 'select' button on the top right corner of ur screen. hope this helps.
