Hi all.

Can anyone point me in a direction of a tutorial, or a clue, about a good way to do this?

I'm hoping to do it somewhat realistically, with fragments and chunks, not individual polygons, like you would with the Shatter deformer.

Do a search in the tutorials section here for the cloth exploision tutorial. It could be of some use to you.

i suggest using nota in strategic sections that are offset a bit - along with some key elements that use dynamics. big thick volumetric cloud at the bottom to hide stuff.

Try searching for "cloth boomer" in this forum, there were some nice approaches that can be used for collapsing a builing.
