View Full Version : vector render
darkmoon3d 01-24-2007, 10:35 AM I'm trying to do a simple render which should be easy but can't seem to find solution to it. Need to render out some vector lines from a layer in AE but can't seem to get lines to show up as render.
Have tried 'wireframe preview' which is what I'm aiming to get. Is there a way to save 'wireframe preview' into avi or video file the same way rampreview can be saved into an avi?

Try the Stroke filter under generate, I think. Worst case that should do it!

Thanks. Ended up using 'vector paint' though to simply trace lines. Using AE 6.0 so evidently don't have have 'stroke' plugin installled.

Ah, vector paint is great! I really like it a lot! I've done a tutorial for our plug-in with vector paint! Hmmm... let me see... Ah...the Frosting Over (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=10&t=451028) example, too, which I've made using VP.
And here's that tutorial I mean...

Hehe, no need to check it out, but while you were mentioning it...vector paint is good times, that's all! :scream:
