Hello ya'll.

Previously posted this in "3d stills gallery" by accident. (file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/jason.hipkins/Desktop/PH/PH2b.psd)

My name is Jason and i've been working in the realm of 3d game characters for almost 3 years now. Got the idea one weekend to go ahead and make a character that wouldn't need to be work related. Have to say that working on a character just when I felt like it was really liberating. It wasn't until friends and co-workers discovered I was working on Pyramid Head from Silent Hill2 that i started to get asked when it was ever going to be finished.

Well....maybe.

Certainly not putting the nail in his coffin just yet, hence my post in the critique forum, but generally planning just to rig him and pose him up for more dramatic shots. Mighty throw in some lighting and maybe a little scene for him to stand in and look menacing. But I guess i'll save that until after i'm sure I've got him modeled and textured how I like. At the moment, the character, plus both his weapons weigh in at 2856 triangles. Wanted to keep the polycount low enough for game use. Does tend to help that the character's head is about 70 polys.

Whelp, thats enough from me, I look forward to critiques and suggestions! (file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/jason.hipkins/Desktop/PH/PH2b.psd)
