Hello!
I have a question about Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, i.e. about vector editors. But I could not find special place for vector art questions, so i decided to post my question in Photoshop thread. Hope you don't mind.
I have a path, and i want to have fading of color and transparency from path. Look at the picture. For example on the path all points are opaque, but far from path all points are transparent. I need also to have fading along path.

I would like to have some help how this can be done. Please advice!

You could try doing it by setting your line to a gradient and simply include the same color as the background (say white for example) so that it 'appears' to fade, or create a transparency mask (see Illustrator help - F1)
