I'm also a member at the [url=http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/]Straight Dope message board/url].

They don't allow Member status (the line below your nick) coz it's open to abuse for impersonation as a mod.

I'm about to change mine to 'Tester [mod]' just to check if there are any filters.

I'll change it back almost immediately.
