View Full Version : Can't delete my own posts
dvornik 02-21-2003, 07:51 PM Why?
Also, this new attachment viewing setup is extremely inconvenient. Extra 2 clicks to view an image doesn't help my RSI. Just disable attachments if you want to conserve bandwidth.

If attachments were disabled, all hell would break loose.

dvornik, we disabled the feature where users can delete their own post. it happened a couple times to many where users deleted their own threads which held GREAT information just because another user pissed them off.
Cause the problem is that if a user deletes his initial threadpost, the entire thread vanishes.
so we decided to disable it to prevent usefull information from being lost. if you want a post/thread deleted of yours, contact a mod/admin and ask her/him to delete it.
cheers,
