CGTalk - "Center view" by clicking

I´ve been seeing some painter veterans around so i thought i´d ask whether I was able to disable the "center-view-when-space+clicking". It´s getting rather annoying and i´d rather not get used to panning less.

Am i?

I don't like this feature too.

I use a fairly big wacom and when I accidentally tipped the pen a bit while panning, the document would be centered. So, it is fairly annoying when you work in a large canvas.

The slow mini navigation window feature (at the bottom left) doesn't help either.

I know there is no workaround for this but I hope this feature will be omitted in the next update for convenience's sake.
