This Alien image is a colouration of a pencil image I finished a few months ago. Most of the colour is flat coloured photoshop layers set to 'multiply'. The highlights are the only opaque bits of brushwork.
This is the first attempt at 'colouring' one of my pencil images that I've been happy with the result. I'm very enthusiastic about treating some of my other pencil images in a similar way.

Nice character. It looks almost like color pencil or chalk. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
