Along with business partners, Dale Hendrickson and Larry Le Francis, Geoffrey Kater is co-owner and CGI producer for S4 Studios, a busy animation and visual effects house with clients such as Viacom, Isuzu, Cartoon Network, Sony and Disney. His work has covered the full range of visual effects and animation in film, television and new media, and includes such unusual projects as "Thumb Wars" and "The Groovenians". I recently had a chance to visit S4 and talk to Geoffrey about his work, S4's varied projects, and their plans for the future.

Nice and interesting example of how an interview should be made

WV- Do you wish all women could be California Girls?

GK- No...without variety, California Girls would be just average.

An interesting read. I almost didn't bother to read the article because I sort of expected the interview to be basically "what do you like about lightwave, what could we improve in lightwave, what functionality in lightwave do you use the most, why is lightwave the best 3d app..# etc, but yay, it wasn't one of those!
Good job :p

And it was about S4! :)

Wish some of the pictures could have been links to bigger versions though..

More interviews like this one!
