hello
I would like to conduct small plugin contest. It many of them was one should to different thematic groups / functional, and some among them was duplicated.
Which from plugins in data groups (like: modeling, lithing, texturing, ...etc.) come in handy according to you the best, and necessary, without which work in C4D would be different now ?

...it should be division into commercial and free plugins .. but temporarily this probably unimportant.

I would like to put in sure publication conclusions... think, this can influence on positive picture C4D.
I will be grateful for every hints.

not to sound mean, but i didnt understand what you posted. I assume it had something to do with making plugins, but it didnt seem clear at all.

That looks like a bad translation from the authors native languge to english via some kind of web translator I would guess. Or he just speaks english very poorly.

I got it.

What our favorite plugins are and in order of importance how would we rank them. Also which ones are free and which ones are commercial.Which ones are similar to one another ie saw and cutter etc and in their different categories :)

QBA_PL these links should give you all the info you need on the subject of plugins. We have had a couple of those discussions already in the C4D forum.

in Terms of modeling plugins, there should be some great videos available in the coming weeks promoting some modeling plugins and their usefulness. need a lot of time, was planning on having these done for february, but figuring out what codec to use for distribution and such is becoming more and more of a pain in the butt. Also getting timing right, I can't tell you how many times I have extruded a single edge on a basic cube in the last two weeks, crazy.

Nice news indeed Kai. What codec in the end? Divx? Mpg?

Final Codec willl be Sorenson 3 Quicktime and after some great suggestions, the movies wil be 800x600 as some people falet 1024x768 will be too large and hard on some peoples systems.

mostly currently available ones, have to get permission from plugin developers regarding not yet available plugins. Look for mess and the DPpack to be included.

Bandwidth is going to be an issue as well, I'm going to talk to maxon and creativecow and see which will be interested in hosting it, I'm thinking more likely creativecow. but will sort that all out tomorrow.
