Hi Folks,
I'm trying to make a 3D game using DirectX 9 and am using 3DS Max 5 for the content. I have a MAX exporter (Panda Exporter) that makes these meshes from MAX in to DirectX .x files. At the moment I can make a static mesh, export it and load it in to my game engine.
I know a little about MAX animation including using bones and key framing. I made a box primitive deform as a test animation and then exported it to an .x file. It worked as I expected.
I'm looking for online resources and tutorials about making a mesh in MAX which as multiple animations. I then anticipate that i'll be able to export this to a single .X file which, when use in my game engine, i be able to reference the individual animations (e.g. by an assigned name or something ?? ...)
Can anyone help?
