Hi guys, long time no see. This time I got something very different, so to speak, since this is the first creature design I am posting in this gallery. it was created by Corky and me for our illustrated novel.
Pencil sketch can be found here: http://www.darktownmanga.de/phpkit/popup.php?img=content/images/1_EvanPencil.jpg

machineflesh creature. It's quite different from usual things you post here ...which is good. I like especially the head. Did you use some textures or is it all just tiny brush strokes?

Hello.
The texture is made with some kind of sparkeled brush which is like many tidy brush strokes :)

Incredible, it feels like a mix between an egyptian god and the pyramid head from Silent hill.:wise:

What can I say Anne, great work as always!
Im glad to see you expanding into different directions with the 2D art. I really like this new grittier and darker style you've been experimenting with lately.

The concept is spot on. I am a bit confused though.
Did you do the Sketch or did you do the coloring or both or?
