Hi guys,
Few questions here about the CPS tool. Basically im looking to use it to rig and animate a low res model so the rende can be in high res..
Firstly, can the base mesh be assigned a non-transparent shader? so when i work with the character for animation i would like to be able to see the model as is, cant seem to figure this out...
Secondly, is this as good as a replacement for the 'wrap deformer' tool? i just watched the Gnomon skinning 1 DVD, and the CPS seems to do the same job except alot less CPU intensive and alot quicket, am i correct?
Finally when is the best stage in the modelling/rigging workflow to use the CPS tool to up the res of your character? after it is rigged? And am i correct in thinking once the CPS has been used, the smoothskin weights on the character cannot be edited (e.g. by artisan paint tool or component editor)?
Cheers all
