CGTalk - combustion2.1 and 3dsmax4.2 not work together

View Full Version : combustion2.1 and 3dsmax4.2 not work together

Since three days we use Combustion and now we have the Problem that 3dsmax 4.2 not works correctly together with Combustion 2.1.

When i start combustion as a texture in 3dsmax, i receive following error:

"An error occurred while trying to communicate with Combustion.
The connection has been terminated."

the result ... 3dsmax crashes completly!

any idea?

Tobi,

When you installed combustion 2.1 on your system, did you delete the old combustion DLLs from max and copy the new DLLs from Combustion 2.1 to the maxstd plugs?
