Not bad...
Here are some things that you might want to consider...
1) The right arm moves slightly jerky before it reaches the box which you might want to refine it a bit.
2) The illusion of the HEAVY BOX is lost when I saw it spin around in mid air (you might want to change this CONTRADICTION).
3) Maybe get one of the legs of the shelf to snap which will cause the fall. The current fall is not too believable.
4) When the shelf is falling on him. You might want to make the bug lift his arms over his head to fend himself (don't really know the exact word for it... Oh! yeah... like the way you put your arm in front of your face when something is about to hit you in the face). I hope you know what I mean.
I hope this helps and keep up with the good work!

thanks chepe.. ilook into those probs next time. i have a question.. how do you guys animate?. i mean.. what i usually do to animate is i pose the character , then i key everything.. then i pose ...and key everything again after a few frames. is this the way you guys animate?.i animate this way and when i see the graphs(f-curves) i find that i almost got keys on every 2 frames of my animation.. phew... can anyone tell that which way of animating is the quickest and most headache-free?. :D :)

How do I animate? I am pretty much do straight ahead animations, but currently looking at keith lango's pose to pose tutorial.
I don't know any quick ways. You said "almost got keys on every 2 frames of my animation" sounds pretty normal too me. I had a similar question to you too. Look here...

I am not sure whether I've answered your questions or not. Well... Hope this helps... :wavey:

I agree with chepe297.
I think the sense of weight and timing is pretty amazing and very believable until the box start flying.
When he falls he seems to be bouncing a lot and stays quite rigid. But you 'd expect more damping even if his body is not soft the articulations would react more I think.
I really like the fall of the shelf and the little pause right before (very cartoony and humorous)
