View Full Version : Raycast select points?
DDrake 02-21-2003, 02:25 AM sorry for maybe a dumb question...
Is there any key for raycast points directly? I mean, there is one for Edges (I) one por Polys (U) but for points i have to pess T for points and F10 for raycast...
ummm... which are the really uselfulness of the paint select (f11) instead of raycast?
Thanks!!

lasso selecting tags in any shaded view will correctly raycheck.

Go into point mode (t) and press F11.
Now you can "paint" your point selection.

Thanks for your answers :D but what i was trying to avoid is to use two keys (t and f10 or f11).
Maybe is possible to bind to a key an array of keystrokes?
Thanks!

create a script going like this:
ActivateVertexSelTool
PainSelTool
save it and bind it to a key.
there you go.

After several failed tries, i decided to bind the raycast tool to the Y key, so i have it very near the select point tool T.
It works because they are very near... i´will let appart scripts until i learn more of how this works :D
Thanks!
