This is a Work-In-Progress that I am posting for a friend in my class that is having trouble with his account here. Constructive Critisim is needed...

I forgot to mention...This is COMPLETELY done in NURBS in Maya.

The way the horns attach just seems odd to me. With something that big attached to the skull, I'd think there'd be some sort of support for it at the base. Right now, it just looks like it'd fall off if you bumped it too hard.

your skull is too rubbery, what are app. are ya using? you should work with weighting vertex and edges, it'll definetly help sturdy up that skull. or there is always adding a little more geometry, get some good reference of a skull, or you can buy one to have forlike 30 bucks at some places, it really helps... good luck

looks more like famine of the horseman than the devil himself.
ofcourse thats not much of an help as far as the model goes.
so discard it if you got a deeper plan for this thing.

besides that....the feel is more a combo between a skeleton and a (skeleton with a deer?)

man i cant get beyond that one...heh...sorry.
maybe when the beast is textured it will give us some tooth to bite on.:)

The program I am using is MAYA 4.5 and I am not using verts and edges..I am not using Polygons...I am using NURBS..Non-union Rational B-Splines. thanks for the critque though i will check it out. i'm not quite sure about what you mean by rubbery???

Thanks for the critques keep them coming.:) i know there is a nasty seam around the neck. I haven't attached the head to the torso. I will have the legs up pretty soon. every bit helps.

By rubbery he probably means its too smooth looking, a result of just nurbs, thats why others suggested weight maps to add more hard edges.
