Yes - sorry, I should have been a bit more descriptive! - the ship was modeled in C4D, imported into Bryce, where the landscape and planet were added and rendered. :)

I love the thing on the background - it is very cool. *thumbs up for it*

You might want to re composite the foreground, however. It looks pretty fake. :(

The contrast between the foreground and the ship/background are a bit harsh and is affecting the realism. Maybe try adding some atmosphere to the foreground landscape?

hey kromekat, excellent work as usual. the subject matter has been done before, but never in such detail. that mat on the ship is fantastic :)

That's an impressive point of view, very massive.....good work Adam.
I don't particularly like the light impression of the Bryce render engine (seems always the same source) but the view angle is really fine !

Nice work Adam, i think you may want to work abit on your foreground though its abit too sharp. Also maybe add some clouds to the atomosphere so it adds to the realism of the scene.

Good work

Really good work. I think you got the 70's feel down.

well, main crit: the terrain in the background, just under that ship-thing(which is nice as a concept) is really coarse - as in detail lacking and takes away much of the image:)

I find this image instantly reminds me of the artwork in the antique sci-fi art books I have (printed in the 60's & 70's). The large moon is typical of so many early works of sci-fi. Thanks for creating a unique retro feel to your work.
