why whenever i extrude someting that is already Hnurbed it gets the new polygons also nurbed messing with those next to them? how can i make the current HN values stay the way they are, creating the new polygons with a null HN value so i dont have to adjust them all the time?

thanks 4 your time & attention

Works fine here. Do you have an example?

example
there is a hn-cube with all hn values set to 0... when i extrude one of the side besides rounding up the new polygons it rounds up the existing polygons imediatly before the new one....

Hm, i fear this is a bit difficult. It might be possible to do with extrusions, but other means of creating geometry are less connected to existing geometry so there is no real hint on what might be a usefull default value for the HN weight.

If you weight the edges of the cube, you still retain the HN affect
of the circle. From there you can extrude the poly if you do not wish
to spread out the chamfer between the cube and the extrusion.

yeah but that 1st figure is what should happen (or what i would expect to happen) when i do an extrusion on an already HN polygon, that had the values to 0, and my example scene is what actually happens....

its not that dificult readjusting the values of the original cube but in a more complex object its another story... the only way i can now find so the rest of the object doesnt be affected by the future operations is disconecting the polygon you will be working with and when youre done, optimize it again...
