View Full Version : Stripgenerator 1.01
The guys at Stripgenerator (http://www.stripgenerator.com) (with a little help from me :)) have updated their online strip comic creation tool called Stripgenerator with blogging ability and some other pretty cool stuff. In its core its still flash powered engine with preset characters and objects for those who cannot draw but have something to say and want to create comics.
I recon it can be a pretty cool waste of time for CGtalkers. It is for me while rendering.

really nice update, me likes =)
now lets waste time :P
pretty cool.
things that i don't like:
1. when you click on a strip, you have to click it again to enlarge it to read it. It would be nice it was just that size to begin with so you click less. And then you also have to click to close it :banghead:
2. why are all text bubbles squares? isn't it common to have circular or atleast rounded edged talk/thought balloons?
3. how do you move objects vertically in the space... can only move horizontally.
Yo Neil, let me try to answer it for you:
1. Thats due to a pretty large format of the strip. Yeah, I do realize that clicking is something that should not be done often, but right now, me personally, dont see the solution apart from changing the layout.
2. Stripgenerator has had them for literally years now, so I guess people got used to it. But you are right and I know what you mean.
3. Thats again one of the forced limitations. I remember last year when guys allowed positioning of characters everywhere in space and strips got much worse from the estetical point of view. So they I guess chucked the limitation back on
